Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has denied rumours of his death.
He also said he has not withdrawn from the presidential race slated to hold next year.
Tinubu travelled to London last week ostensibly for some meetings.
But his critics say his mission in London is medical.
Tinubu, who posted a video on his verified twitter handle Sunday evening, said those who said he is dead missed it.
The former Lagos State Governor wrote alongside it: “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.
“Well… Nope.
“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
Apart from his critics, an online publication (not the NPO Reports) has published on Thursday that Tinubu’s health had worsened prompting him
to seek medical help abroad.
The publication had alleged that Tinubu now wears catheter, a medical means used for patients suffering from urine complications.
Critics of Tinubu had taken him up more over his state of health.
Tinubu has assured that he is medically fit and mentally alert for the rigors of the presidency.
