A yet to be identified lady has jumped into the Lagos lagoon in the early hours of Thursday.
Dr. Oke Osanyintolu who confirmed this to the NPO Reports this afternoon said the search and rescue team are currently at work to recover the body of the lady.
“I can confirm to you that it is true. Our team are still searching,” Osanyintolu told our correspondent on telephone.
He said it appeared that lady had jumped into the lagoon at about 3am while the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency was not informed until about 5am this morning.
