*Report by Mudasir Opeyemi
Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC),Bola Tinubu has revealed his main source of wealth that’s been subjected to questioning.
Tinubu said his wealth came from Real Estate.
The former Lagos State governor gave this revelation in an interview with BBC News on Monday shortly after his appearance at Chatham House in London, the United Kingdom.
The APC candidate noted that those criticising his source of wealth were driven by envy.
“Are they enemies of wealth? If they are not enemies of wealth, investments do yield.I have an example of Warren Buffet. He’s one of the richest men in America, and in the world. He started from stock buying and brokerages.
“I inherited great real estate and I turned the values around.
“I am not denying my wealth. I was the most investigated, the most accused governor in the opposition for eight years and since I left the office, I have not taken any government appointment, no government contract,”he said
On the allegation of him (Tinubu) getting certain percentage from the Lagos coffers, the former lawmaker said he never took or collected any share from any successive governments in Lagos since he left in 2007.
“Hey,excuse me,share what? Have they proven it?”
“The World Bank,IMF has investigated the record in Lagos. It’s envy. Envy and nothing more but envy,” he repeated.
Asked if he wasn’t running for president, who among the two main opposition candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi would he be voting
Tinubu answered affirmatively by saying that “None”
He said, “None because they are not as competent as any other person out there. They have no track record, none of them is qualified except me.”
Tibubu described himself as “front runner” in the race adding that is why he’s getting many arrows.
Asked what would be his priorities if he eventually wins the election and sworn-in in May 29th,next year.
“Security and economic recovery to accelerated development to get Nigerians employed and get inflation down.Monetary policy needs to be changed.
Subsidy needs to be decided upon and then removed.”

He applauded President Muhammad Buhari for tackling security issues upon resuming into office in 2015.
He added that Buhari has reduced insecurity in the country compared to what he met on ground.
“It’s actually reduced and I will defend him for that. Then,17 local governments and about four states where we have flags of foreign juhadists in Nigeria. That’s no more, that’s long gone.
“To start chaos is easy but to bring normalcy and redecorate is more difficult. Here we are,Buhari has degraded but not completely eliminated Iswap. They will talk briefly of lethal weapons and ammunitions and technology equipment that could have helped with Buhari administration to sell us the arms and technology neccesary.
“Buhari has done his best and I can’t runaway from him. He’s my friend and leader in the party. I will not runaway from him.”
He promised to recruit more hands into Nigerian Army to clean up the reminants of terrorism in the country.
On why Nigerians should give him their mandate to rule the country next year, Tibubu said he’s different.
He referenced his achievements in Lagos when he was the Chief Executive Officer of the second largest economy state in Africa.
“I am different.I am Bola Ahmed Tinubu.I have governed Lagos. I built a modern state that could be a country on its own.
“I’ve led an adminstration that’s so prudent. From 600m from internally generated revenue to 5bn a month. That’s a record. Nobody else can brag about that. I’ve treated and tamed the Atlantic Ocean surge in Nigeria that would have perished many people in Lagos.
“The infrastructural renewal of Lagos is excellent and I’ve continuity in Lagos.”
