Senator Ita Enang, the Emeritus Senior Adviser to the President on National Assembly and Niger Delta has reacted to his expulsion by the state working committee of APC in Akwa Ibom State.
The state working committee had in a letter dated January 24th which was addressed to his(Enang) ward chairman ratified the expulsion of Enang from the party over the allegations of Anti-party activities.
“In the process, fully doing the bidding of the PDP to put a clog in the wheel of our progress as a party. The clandestine meetings he holds with the opposition party, the PDP, and after such meetings, drumming support for them, are not without notice by his vigilant ward and chapter officers of our great party.
“Consequently, I write on behalf of the state working committee (SWC) to ratify the decision of the disciplinary committee of the All Progressives Congress; that, Senator Ita Solomon Enang, be and is hereby expelled from the All Progressives Congress,”Stephen Ntukekpo, the state chairman of APC in Akwa Ibom had stated in the letter.
Reacting while featuring on Arise TV News, Enang described himself as the spirit,soul and body of the All Progressives Congress APC in Akwa Ibom state adding that nobody can Intimidate him to abandon the Party.
He alleged that the gubernatorial candidate of the party,Akan Udofia is a member of the PDP whom he said has no right to fly ticket of the APC in the state.

Senator Enang accused the former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio of wearing the face of Steven Ntukekpo to intimidate him and other members of the party.
“Why is it wherever Senator Akpabio goes there’s problem? Since he came, most people have left the APC. Since he came, people have left than new members joining.”
“If you look at all the commissioners that joined APC with Akpabio, they have all left our party.”
“I will not be distracted by anyone.
That’s cowardice, Akpabio is using Stephen Ntukekpo’s face. He can’t face me. People are leaving our party. It’s not right. I’ll not leave. I won’t abandon the party.” Enang said
He added,”Ntukekpo is the mask covering the former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, I alone with Ita Otoyo and Ita Awake are the only people that have stood against the PDP in Akwa Ibom.
Akpabio has never stood up against the PDP.
“I will not allow any distraction as we work together to receive Mr. President and our incoming President.For defending myself in court”.
