*Says He Handed “Ilerioluwa” Campaign Slogan Oyetola title
The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Monday said that his former Secretary to the State Governor, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, will emerge the next governor of Osun.
Aregbesola, who was in Ijebu-Jesa on Monday openly denounced any further relationship with the Governor of the state of Osun, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.
He told the crowd of supporters that it was he who handed Oyetola the ‘IleriOluwa’ campaign slogan.
He said as from today he was transferring the slogan to Adeoti with the grace of God.
Aregbesola who made the announcement at the APC Federal Constituency meeting in Oriade/Obokun on Monday boasted that the Ilerioluwa title adopted by Oyetola during the 2018 governorship campaign belongs to him.
The title according to the former governor of Osun said during his 2014 governorship election, the classical Fuji Musician, in a record referred to him as Ilerioluwa.
While speaking on the crisis rocking the party in the state, Aregbesola said he is no longer with governor Oyetola as he had turned the party into a personal affair and also failed to embark on people-oriented policies.
He said the governor does not know the usefulness of the title, Ilerioluwa and he is taking it back from him for Alhaji Moshood Adeoti.
The Minister however urged the people to come out in their numbers for the Saturday primary election and vote Adeoti, promising that nobody will come from nowhere and impose a candidate on the people this coming poll.
