The police on Sunday hinted of an alleged plot by some unnamed people to visit Lagos state with violence.
But the command said it has not dismantled its security architecture used for the election hence it’s prepared to deal with any situation.
Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman of the Lagos state command of the force, said this on Sunday.
“Available intel suggests some people have concluded plans to foment trouble & wreak havoc.
“Kindly note that such attempts would be crushed decisively. Our election security architecture has not been drawn down. Anarchy will not be allowed! Remain law-abiding. Be guided!’ Hundeyin stated on Sunday
There have been fears of possible violence aftermath of Saturday elections.
There were some pockets of violence at voting centres on election day
