I Made Mimiko, Fayemi, Aregbesola Governors – Tinubu
Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has reminded Nigerians how he was responsible for the emergence of some of the governors who have either served or serving in the South-West part of the country.
Tinubu, while speaking before traditional rulers in Ondo State reminded Nigerians how he had helped many people in the country to achieve their political goals.
Tinubu said, “I helped Mimiko got his mandate through court after two years that he was elected. I helped Fayemi get his mandate after three years. It took Aregbesola three years, 10 months, to get his mandate. We have helped many people like that.”
Tinubu, a major contender for the 2023 presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress, spoke at the palace of the Deji of Akure, Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.
Tinubu was one of those who led the alliance for the emergence of the APC which culminated in the election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
