A man who was arrested after a suicidal opening of the door of Asiana Airlines aircraft mid-air has claimed that his action was due to frustration after his loss of job.
NPO Reported earlier that the man has opened the door of the plane when it was about landing and some 250m above the ground.
BBC Reported the Plane was, an Airbus A321-200 jet, and had taken off from Jeju Island on Friday about 11:45 local time (03:45 GMT).
After the man opened the door, there was enough gap for strong winds to come into the plane causing serious panic and injuries to many passengers.
“The man in his 30s said he was feeling suffocated and wanted to get off quickly, Yonhap news agency reported.
Police said the man claimed during questioning that he was stressed after losing his job, according to the report,” BBC reported
All the 194 passengers survived the accident but some had breathing difficulties while some others fainted.
