Hon. Kingsley Chinda (PDP-Rivers) has emerged as the Minority Leader of the 10th House of Representatives.
Chinda, who represents Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency of Rivers in the green chamber emerged as the leader at a meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus in Abuja on Friday.
This followed the withdrawal of Hon. Oluwole Oke (PDP-Osun) who was his main contender in the race.
Hon. Ali Isah (PDP-Gombe) also emerged as the Minority Whip of the 10th Assembly of the House.
Recall that the 10th National Assembly was Inaugurated on Tuesday after which Hon. Tajudeen Abass from Kaduna emerged as the Speaker while Hon. Ben Kalu was unanimously elected as his deputy.
