The All Progressive Congress on Tuesday began the sale of nomination forms for those expressing interests in various positions within the party.
According to the party, a national chairmanship aspirant will be expected to pay N20m.
Aspirants for the office of deputy national chairman will pay N10 million, while other positions in the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party will aN5 million each. The sale of the forms which was supposed to have started on Monday, March 14, will close on Friday.
The party had fixed March 26 for its National Convention which had been bedeviled by crisis of various dimensions.
Just on Tuesday the Mai Mala Buni led Caretaker and Convention Planning committee regained the control of the party’s secretariat after about four days of what has been described as a coup by the Governor of Niger State, Sani Bello.
