How My Daughter Was Molested, Accused of Shoplifting At Shoperite; Nollywood Actress Narrates

Nollywood actress, Mrs. Toyin Adegbola popularly called Toyin Tomato, has caused ripples at Ibadan outlet of retail company, Shoprite after her daughter was allegedly accused by security men attached to the outlet of shoplifting.
The actress, who went online on her instagram page, was seen with security and other officials of the retail outlet challenging them to show her the CCTV recording to confirm her daughter engaged in shoplifting.
Some of the staff were seen pleading with Adegbola not to pursue the matter further just as she insisted her lawyer would take up the matter over the act of intimidation and harassment.
She claimed she left her hospital bed over the matter.
Speaking with the NPO Reports on the matter on Sunday, Adegbola said she is ready to ensure that those responsible for the molestation of her daughter face the full wrath of the law.
She said one of the security men had told her daughter he wanted to have a discussion with her privately adding that the daughter declined asking the official to say what he had in mind openly.
It was alleged that the refusal by Adegbola’s daughter to give the security personnel any private audience later made him to turn around and alleged that one of the items in her bag were not receipted.
According to Adegbola, the management of the shopping mall has initiated calls to her Sunday morning seeking an amicable resolution.
She told the NPO Reports that she had already left for church when the calls from the shopping mall started coming.
She disclosed to the NPO Reports that another couple had alleged within the premises of the outlet on Saturday that similar thing had happened to them before when security sought to extort them but later accused them of shoplifting.
