Suspended Abuja Imam Finally Sacked by Steering Committee

The steering committee of the Apo Legislative Quarters has finally relieved its Imam, Nuhu Khalid of his duty.
He had been suspended last Friday after what was considered to be a sermon too critical of the government.
Senator Saidu Dansadau who is the chairman of the steering committee of the mosque said the suspension has been upped to be a sack.
Dansadau said Imam Khalid was sacked because he has not shown any remorse after he was given a punitive charge.
