#EndBadGovernance Protesters are set to storm the Abuja Federal High Court in demand for the release of Micheal (Lenin) Adaramoye, and other agitators arrested in the course of the 10-day protest.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X which has ever since been in circulation as the protest organizers seek to mobilize people for the movement.
As contained in the post tagged ‘We are leaving no one behind, the protesters are to converge at the Abuja court by 7am on Monday to strike home their demand for the immediate release of all arrested protesters.
“All road leads to Federal High Court, Abuja, tomorrow, so we converge in solidarity to demand the immediate and unconditional release of our comrades who were illegally detained during the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria peaceful protest.” The post read.
Recall NPO Reports Amnesty International had also demanded for the release of the detained protesters, especially Michael Adaramoye (aka Michael Lenin) and Mosiu Sodiq.
They were arrested on the 5th of August, 2024, and have ever since been detained with the Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
