Former Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Emmanuel Ayoola, is dead.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by his family on Wednesday.
The Ex-ICPC boss reportedly died on Tuesday at the age of 90.
As described in the family statement confirming his death, Ayoola passed away having lived a beautiful life.
The statement read; “With heartfelt gratitude to the Lord Almighty, for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing away of our beloved Dad, granddad, great-granddad, brother, uncle, benefactor, and friend, Hon. Justice Emmanuel Olayinka Ayoola (JSC, rtd; CON).”
Following his retirement as a Justice of the Supreme Court in 2003, Ayoola served as ICPC chairman between 2005 to 2010.
