Kogi State is set to host The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers’ 2024 Annual Conference.
This was disclosed in statement signed by GOCOP’s Publicity Secretary, Remmy Nweke.
Themed, “Nigeria: Tackling Insecurity, Power Deficit, and Transitioning to Digital Economy”, the conference will be held on Thursday 3rd of October.
According to the statement, a prominent technocrat will deliver keynote speech while two guests speakers with expertise in digital economy and security value chains will also be in attendance.
This year’s edition, according to the Planning Committee Chairman, Danlami Nmodu, and Secretary, Olumide Iyanda, will be the first time a state will be hosting the conference.
It will also be the 8th edition of the conference.
Meanwhile, previous editions had hosted prominent guest speakers among which include, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Rev. Matthew Hassan Kukah, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu
