Five times Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, has dropped hint on his retirement as he reveals the club he wishes to end his career.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus player made this disclosure in a interview with a Portuguese TV, Now.
Though linked to return to his boyhood club, Sporting Lisbon, Ronaldo however expressed his satisfaction with his current club, Al Nassr, and revealed the possibility of retiring at the Saudi Arabian club.
“I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire here at Al Nassr.
“I’m happy at this club, I feel good in this country too. I’m happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue.” He disclosed.
Ronaldo has scored 898 career goals, with 130 of those coming for Portugal and wants to add to that tally as he confirmed he is keen to continue his international career.
“When I leave the national team, I won’t tell anyone in advance and it will be a very spontaneous decision on my part, but also a very well thought-out one,
“Right now what I want is to be able to help the national team in their upcoming matches.
“”We have the Nations League ahead of us and I would really like to play.” He added.
However, Ronaldo shrugged off thoughts of becoming a coach after retirement as he said it never come to his mind.
