Nigerians have been thrown into darkness as national grid collapsed again on Monday.
As contained in a statement issued by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, the grid collapsed at 6:58pm due to system failure.
The DisCo, however, assured its customers of restoring power as soon as the grid is stabilized.
“Dear Valued Customer, Please be informed that the power outage being experienced is due to a system failure from the national grid at 6:58pm today, affecting the power supply to our franchise areas.
“Rest assured, we are working with the relevant stakeholders to restore power as soon as the grid is stabilized.
“Thank you for your understanding.” AEDC wrote.
In the same vein, Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) also informed its customers about the development in a separate statement.
