Nigerian film maker and Director of popular Shanty Town, Dimeji Ajibola has passed away.
He passed away following an undisclosed illness on Sunday.
He’s well known for directing popular series, Shanty Town.
With a career in the film and advertising industry spanning a period of over 18 years, started off as an animator in the early years of his career and immediately became a darling in the industry offering solutions that were initially sought after abroad.
Dimeji was responsible for many award winning TV ads like some of the MTN Yello animated ads, Coca-cola TV ads and many others.
Ovy’s voice, a film directed by Dimeji Ajibola also became the best and number one ranked movie out of all the movies on the Iroko TV platform for the year 2017.
