VDM Calls Out Suleiman Over False Predictions
- Safiu Kehinde
Kamala Harris’ Defeat to Donald Trump at the almost concluded 2024 US Election has not only left her supporters on a bad note, it has also foiled the prophesy of popular Nigerian clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleiman.
Sequel to Trump’s victory over the US Vice President and the 2024 Democrats Presidential candidate, an old video of Apostle Suleiman’s prophesy on the emergence of United States’ first female President had resurfaced on X.
The video, dated back to the 2020 US election between Trump and Joe Biden, saw the clergyman predicting the impeachment of an elected president with a vice president, which he noted would be a female, emerging as the president.
“And the Lord said the person will win. And I’m even saying the one that will happen later now. Because the person that just won now will be impeached.
“The person that I see ruling America is a woman. The person that is vice will become president. Write it down.
“But I will say this o. America has made its biggest mistake. One year, they will start missing this man.
“One year, they will start calling for him. And I see them planning to arrest him as a living president.” Apostle Suleiman had said in the video.
However, this has generated series of reactions from X users following Harris’ defeat to Trump with popular social media influencer Martins Otse (VeryDarkMan) calling out the clergyman over false predictions.
“The luck most of these Pastors get in Nigeria na because say it is not a crime if your predictions no happen or if your prophesy no happen.
“If to say na crime, by now- especially this Suleiman of a man, he don suppose spend, give or take, 30 years for Sanko. Why always you?
“The one we dey always gladden my heart na the fact say everyday, internet is beginning to reveal this so called men of God in Nigeria. Not only Suleiman, there are lots of them.
“There is no miracle happening anywhere, na God dey run am.” VDM said in a post on X handle.
Also, Some X users slammed the clergyman for what they labelled as ‘disjointed prophesy’.
“Some Nigerian pastors sef🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️you leave Christ enter politics only to make yourself look stupid before the world. You see in part and prophesy in part. Lopsided revelation
“From his disjointed revelation, He only succeeded in telling us that he doesn’t know God” @Blessedgirl wrote.
“These people just keep shaming themselves, I thought the 2023 election would have made them keep quiet but ..well God cannot be mocked” @treasure_tosin
“prophecies doesn’t fails it can only delay, na prediction this ones dey do” Ken wrote.
“Nigerians aid all these nonsense, short memory issues. Remember when this man was praying that Ukraine will win the war against Russia 😂😂😂😂😂🤡🤡” @kachi_meta
“… and he boldly said “write it down”… all I can say is that he was Clout chasing… looking for relevance and validation … he’s a speaker who likes to think he’s a prophet. In the end it’s very easy to filter through and see the truth…” @udonahjackson
“Until pastors understand that there is alot that God is not involved in Becos politics na human structured system which involves human choice and sentiments. God is not involved in such. Same as who you get married to ….Period!!!!!!!!” @lildon30BG wrote.
