Angry Nigerians have condemned Akin Oyebode, Ekiti State Special Adviser on Investment and Innovation, over his comment on MC Oluomo's interview with Funmi Iyanda.
Iyanda, a journalist and blogger, had interviewed Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya a.k.a. MC Oluomo, the Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers ( NURTW).
On his Twitter handle, Oyebode had described the interview as interesting.
"Never thought I’d spend my evening listening to MC being interviewed, but it was very interesting. Zero tolerance for domestic violence, happy to incorporate more women into the transport value chain. Thank you, Funmilola. Up National!",he tweeted.
Nigerians have however disagreed with his view, saying MC Oluomo was not worth interviewing.
@IamtheOGee tweeted, "Zero tolerance for domestic violence but not for gratuitous violence on streets/busstops? Are you ok? Incorporate women into his polo wearing thugs confraternity chasing buses/bikes with ticket stubs?! Can MC 1st provide toilets for his public pissing goons?"
@Kingsglaive90 also tweeted, "Zero tolerance for domestic violence? What about the public harassment and violence of his boys? Would you want someone like him to govern a street in Ekiti or even have that kind of arrangement in Ekiti? This is disappointing."
@mkolumoya added, "Zero tolerance for violence but what was he doing in oshogbo during the re-run election? Or at Isolo, Ago etc during the presidential election? You people can keep deceiving yourselves sah. It's a pity."
Also @Naijadailyfeedx tweeted, "Keep on clowning. We need to also interview yahoo boys, cultists, they are key to having a progressive state."
