Mayor of New York City, United States, Mayor Bill de Blaiso, has noted that the curfew imposed on the city is helping bring back normalcy to it.
The Government had earlier imposed an 8pm citywide curfew from Tuesday to 5am on Friday.
This was sequel to the protects that followed the death of an unarmed African American, George Floyd in Minnesota.
On his official Twitter handle however, Blaiso said normalcy is returning to the city.
He tweeted, "At Barclays Center now. Very calm situation. So far, the curfew is certainly helping, based on everything I’ve seen in Brooklyn and Manhattan over the last three hours."
