The traditional ruler that was abducted in Ondo State last week; The Oloso of Oso Ajowa in Akoko North West Local Government Area, Oba Clement Omoola Jimoh has regained freedom after seven days in the kidnappers’ den.
According to a family source, the monarch was released on Wednesday, adding that he is presently undergoing medical observation in an undisclosed hospital.
“Kabiyesi regained freedom yesterday evening but he has been taken to the hospital for treatment,” the source narrated
Gunmen had last week Thursday invaded the palace of the monarch and forcefully whisked him away to an unknown destination.

The abductors had demanded 100 million naira as ransom and later reduced it to 10 million naira.
However, it was not disclosed whether a ransom was paid before the monarch was set free or not.
