Nollywood actors have called on Nigerians for financial help for actress, Ajara Lasisi, popularly known as Auntie Ajara.
As disclosed in a post shared on X on Wednesday, the actress is currently hospitalised over undisclosed illness with her health reportedly deteriorating despite medical treatment and assistance from colleagues.
Some of the actress’ colleagues had since taken to their social media handles to solicit for financial assistance from fans and other Nigerians to help Auntie Ajara.
Among the colleagues was actor Adeniyi Johnson who shared of video of the hospitalised actress.
As seen in the video, Auntie Ajara was place on oxygen.
She managed to utter a plea to her fans and Nigerians for their support.
Johnson in the post admitted that he and his colleagues done all they could to assist the ailing actress.

Also lending her platform to solicit for support for Aunty Ajara was fellow actress, Wunmi Toriola, who took to her Instagram handle to plead with her fans and followers.
“I am not sure i have done this before and it breaks my heart to do as alot of us have really done our best😩
“Ajarah needs our support. Please, we need help. 🙏🏽
“Ajara’s health condition has become more critical despite all the efforts so far. So much has already been spent on her treatment, with generous support from kind-hearted celebrities, actors, and individuals — yet the situation is getting worse.
“At this point, we urgently need more financial assistance to keep her fighting. Any amount, any support, any share can make a difference.
“Please help us save a life.” She wrote.
