An United Kingdom-based Nigerian woman has melted the heart of netizens with videos of her Yoruba-speaking toddler.
The boy, identified as Mohammed Mustapha, was captured in series of posts engaging in conversation with his mother in plain Yoruba language.
The adorable videos of the mother and child conversation in their native language were shared in a TikTok page created for him.
As seen in one of the videos, Mustapha who appeared to be a football lover was asked to introduce himself to viewers in Yoruba which he perfectly executed.
“Oruko mi ni agba baller Mohammed.” the visibly excited said.
Mohammed is however yet to know yoruba words for colours as his mother could be heard asking him the yoruba words for colour white, green, and black.
Another video showed him discussing with the mother in yoruba while back home with a creamy ice cone in his hand.
The toddler’s quick learning ability had attracted admirations from netizens who also commended the mother for imbibing Yoruba culture in the child.
