MultiChoice Nigeria has announced a new increment on its subscription cost for DSTV and GoTV packages which is set to take effect from 1 March 2025.
The satellite broadcasting company gave the announcement in a statement issued on Monday by its Chief Executive Officer, John Ugbe.
According to the statement, the subscription cost review was necessitated due to prevalent economic factors which led to increase in the company’s operational cost.
This latest price review, according to report, came nearly a year after MultiChoice last adjusted its subscription rates, and the increase affects all bouquets.As listed in the statement, DStv Compact package will now cost N19,000 as against the initial N15,700, while Compact Plus jumps to N30,000.
The Premium plan was also increased to N44,500.In the same vein, GOtv users will begin to pay N3,900 for Smallie package which previously cost N3,600.While GOtv Plus increased to N5,800 from N4,850, the GOtv Max package will cost N8,500 with Supa increasing to N11,400, and Supa Plus set at N16,800.
