Former Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has been dropped from the squad as Eric Chelle releases 23-man final list ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Musa, who had last week, made it to the 39-man provisional list was dropped alongside Middlesborough forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Rangers FC’s Cyril Dessers.
Meanwhile, three players- Tolu Arokodare, Igoh Ogbu, Papa Mustapha, were handed their first-ever Super Eagles call ups.
In what will be his first game since his appointment in January, Eric Chelle will be leading the Nigerian team against Rwanda in Kigali on the 21st of March.
The Super Eagles will thereafter play Zimbabwe four days later at the Godswill Akpabio International stadium in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state.
