The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has warned of what it called “heightened security” around the areas of the international airport, Ikeja, Lagos ahead of Tuesday when it will commission the newly built International Terminal at the Murtala Mohammad Airport, Lagos State.
The management made this known in their memo released and obtained by NPO Reports saying that the commissioning was scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, March 22,2022.
The management stated that due to heightened security and logistics arrangement on ground travelers, all airport users are advised to arrive the airport earlier than their schedule.
The memo reads, “Consequently, all travellers and Airport users are advised to get to the airport earlier than usual, due to heightened security and logistics arrangement on ground.
“The authority apologises for any inconvenience this might cause”
“Please bear with us.”
President Muhammad Buhari is expected to commission the newly built terminal.
