Former interim National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Chief Bisi Akande has urged the people of Ekiti State to shelve their sword and forgive people in the helms of affair in the state for the sake of the victory of the party.
Akande, who said this at the governorship mega rally in Ekiti noted that the victory of the party is much more important than any rift or crisis.
“We are here with your son, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (APC Presidential Candidate) to ensure that victory of our party is achieved on Saturday.
“Please, forgive us and do not forsake us at the poll.
“Do not put us to shame. We beg for your forgiveness”. Akande added
Fayemi, while reinforcing what Akande said, also pleaded with the gathering to forgive the APC and support its candidate, Biodun Oyebanji on Saturday.
Tinubu, while also speaking, repeated the plead while urging the people of the state to continue with what he called the broom revolution.
Oyebanji will be facing the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bisi Kolawole; Social Democratic Party, Engr, Segun Oni and a host of others.
