Amidst Fears of Fourth Wave, Nigeria Announces 45 COVID Cases

Amidst growing fears that the fourth wave of coronavirus is on its way, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Saturday announced that it recorded 45 new cases.

The Lagos State Government warned on Saturday that a new wave may be coming just as it warned event owners to be cautious.

The government also announced the cancellation of the Greater Lagos Fiesta as part of precautions.

Announcing the new cases, NCDC said Anambra State recorded the highest cases with 18 while the FCT accounted for 15 cases.

Lagos state accounted for 9 cases while Bauchi, Kano and Rivers accounted for one case each.
