Amidst rising tensions in the All Progressive Congress in Osun, President Bola Tinubu has invited all the disqualified aspirants to an emergency meeting in Abuja.
The meeting, according to sources, is slated to hold today Tuesday at the Presidential Villa.
Those disqualified from contesting the primary election slated for December 13 are former National Secretary of the party Iyiola Omisore, former Deputy Governor Adegboyega Alabi, former Senator representing Osun East, Babajide Omoworare; a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Kunle Adegoke, a lawyer Prince Dotun Babayemi, an insurance magnate and one time governorship candidate Chief Akin Ogunbiyi.

Already, Omisore is reported to have ordered his supporters to boycott the primary election of the party which now only features the former Director General of the National Inland Waterways Agency Bola Oyebanji and Mrs Mulikat Adeola.
The disqualified aspirants are said to have vowed not to support Oyebanji who is believed to be the anointed candidate of the party.
