Two officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been caught over alleged manipulation of results at the collation centre for the Anambra gubernatorial election.
The duo were apprehended by police who stood watch at the centre on Saturday night.
As captured in a video shared on X on Sunday, the officials who both had their INEC tag on them were alleged to have colluded with the All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker, Sen. Uche Ekwunife, to rig the election.
The incident is however yet to be confirmed by the police and INEC.
NPO Reported that the state governor, Chukwuma Soludo, had yesterday raised alarm over alleged plot to rig the election.
Soludo made this known while addressing newsmen after casting his vote during the election.
The governor had charged voters to follow through with collation of the results at the collation centres.
