The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the full list of total registered voters across the 21 local government areas across Anambra state ahead of the governorship election.
NPO Reported that the commission had earlier declared a total of 2.8 million registered voters ahead of the Saturday poll.
However, INEC in a post shared on its X handle on Friday gave further breakdown of the registered voters according to their LGAs.
As contained in the list, a total of 2,802,790 voters were registered with 2,769,137, registered voters confirmed to have collected their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
This indicated that 98.80 percent of the registered voters picked up their PVCs ahead of the poll as only 33,653 PVCs were uncollected.
Meanwhile, Idemili North LGA emerged as the council with the highest number of eligible voters with a total of 243,873.
This was followed by Awka South with 214,841 eligible voters while Ogbaru LGA has a total of 186,103 eligible voters.
