A spokesman of the Atiku Campaign organization Daniel Bwala, has accused the Governor of Kaduna Nasir el-Rufai and other Governors of the All Progressive Congress of blackmailing President Muhammadu Buhari.
Bwala said the Governors are putting pressure on Buhari to do their bidding by engaging in actions capable of truncating democracy.
Speaking on a live Arise Television programme Friday night, Bwala accused the Governors of the APC of sponsoring what he called “dramatization of sufferings” saying some of the cases of sufferings being reported over the New Naira note crisis are contrived.
Bwala said the APC leaders are pretending to be fighting on behalf of the masses of the country over the Naira issue demanding “When was the last time that Tinubu stand for the masses?”
He said the the APC leaders are crying more than the bereaved acting the meeting with the president today ended on a sour note for them.
He said, “Their meeting today with the president was a failure because they could not get what they wanted from him. That was why he asked them to give him seven days to think about it,” he said
