Upsetting results of the presidential election and that of the National Assembly held on Saturday nationwide have started trickling in creating anxieties and and hopes among leaders and followers of political parties across the country.
After counting and sorting of the ballots, results have been concluded in some polling units and winners known.
The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Adamu Abdulahi, lost in his polling unit in Nasarawa State while the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, James Faleke could not deliver his polling unit for his presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Reports seen by the NPO Reports showed that Adamu lost at the Angwarimi Ward GRA, A1. Keffi, Nasarawa State to the candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.
While Obi scored 132 votes, Tinubu scored 85 votes in the same unit.
Othe results of the elections recorded in the area include: Senatorial Position: APC (55), PDP (22), LP (42), NNPP (4), SDP (184), ADC (1), and ZLP (3); seven votes were counted as invalid (7).
For the Position of House of Representatives: APC (46), PDP (41), LP (30), NNPP (4), AA (21), SDP (159), ADC (2), APGA (1), while invalid votes were sixteen (16).
The NPO Reports however found that most of the results have not been authenticated and finally announced after collation by the Independent .
