According to a post on X, the court maintained that the Tribunal did not have jurisdiction in this matter.
Justice Mohammed further ordered that the four bank accounts of the former CJN forfeited be returned to him.
Following his suspension by former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, on the 25th January, 2019, Onnoghen was convicted on the 18th of April, 2019 by the Danladi Umar tribunal.
