Minister of Interior and former Governor of Osun, Rauf Aregbesola has written to his successor Gboyega Oyetola over the second year anniversary of his administration.
Oyetola took over the baton from Aregbesola on November 27, 2018.
Aregbesola, in the letter personally signed by him, recognized that there have been challenges occasioned by financial difficulties especially in the face of the global health pandemic.
He however noted that the Governor has weathered the storm and steadied the ship of state.
The letter titled 'Congratulations on Second Anniversary' was dated 26th November, 2020.
Expressing confidence that Oyetola is up to the task, Aregbesola said the challenges that Would come would be in different formats saying that the pressure to deliver on the dividends of democracy is real.
The minister advised the governor to continue to make attending to the welfare of the people his top priority.
He reckoned that the people "are the reason of the state. Without them there will be no government or political office to occupy."
Aregbesola congratulated Oyetola again as he wished him "a resounding success in office and every aspect of life."
He also extended kind regards to the state's first lady, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola and the entire cabinet of the State of Osun.
