A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday, granted former terrorist negotiator, Tukur Mamu’s plea to have access to his own personal physician over alleged deteriorating health condition. Justice Inyang Ekwo, in a ruling, ordered that Mamu’s medical doctor should be allowed to treat him subject to the supervision of the Department of State Service (DSS)’s team of physicians. Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said, on Tuesday, that it recorded 231 road traffic crashes and 205 deaths between January and November in Kano State. The FRSC Sector Commander in the state, Mr Ibrahim Abdullahi, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano. Abdullahi said that during the period under review, a total of 1,451 people were involved in the crashes, while 759 sustained varying degrees of injuries and 692 rescued.
