Reports have it that there are a total of 1,411 participants from Nigeria alone that have registered to be part of the summit tagged COP28. A man has died and two others have been injured in a knife and hammer attack on a street in central Paris. The attack occurred on Quai de Grenelle, near the Eiffel Tower, shortly before 21:00 local time (20:00 GMT) on Saturday. Three traditional rulers in the Oriire Local Government area of Oyo state have died of road crash after their vehicle rammed into a truck. The incident has reportedly occurred on Friday with two of the traditional rulers dying on the spot while a third one died at the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital Ogbomoso. The traditional rulers and others were said o be going for a social function in the nearby community when the incident happened. The deceased monarchs are the Olodogbo of Odogbo, the Onibowula of Bowula, and the Alayetoro of Ayetoro.
