By Kamil Opeyemi Nigerian advocacy group, the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) on Sunday advised the World Bank to investigate how loans to many Nigerian states are being spent by government officials. The group called on World Bank President Mr Ajay Banga to suspend any loans and funding if there is relevant admissible evidence of mismanagement or diversion of public funds by any of the states. The police said Oduyiga, along with another suspect, Gbenga Adejoke, who were accused of being members of Buccanneers and Eiye Confraternity, had been arrested and were being tried by the police. Sierra Leone has been placed under a nationwide curfew as armed men broke into a prison, setting inmates free. Detainees from Central Pademba Road prison in the capital city Freetown were released on Sunday morning, an official at the facility told BBC News. Earlier on, the gunmen had attacked a major military barracks in the city. Residents reported hearing gunshots at the barracks, which are close to the presidential residence.
