An Oyo High Court sitting in Awe has adjourned for hearing a fresh suit filed by Oyo kingmakers (Oyomesi) against Gov. Seyi Makinde and two others on the vacant stool of Alaafin of Oyo till Dec. 14. The Police Command in Katsina State has said that the alleged killers of Alhaji Hamza Abdullahi, the former caretaker Chairman of Safana Local Government Area (LGA) of the state were yet to be identified. Colombian-born Liverpool footballer Luis Díaz’s father has been released by the left-wing guerrillas who kidnapped him 13 days ago, police sources and local media say. Luis Manuel Díaz was handed over to United Nations and Catholic church officials by members of the National Liberation Army (ELN). He was abducted on 28 October in the family’s hometown, Barrancas.
