A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Friday, struck out the suit filed by Sen. Aishatu Dahiru, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the last election in Adamawa against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and others. Marauding elephants have invaded farm fields in Gamboru/Ngala Local Government Area of Borno. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has detained the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele. Emefiele was reportedly arrested Thursday night, moment after his release from the the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS. The former CBN governor, it was learned, is currently being interrogated at the EFCC headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.
