SERAP, in a post on his X handle late Monday said “We’re filing an urgent application for injunction to stop Nigeria’s National Assembly from taking delivery of 465 exotic and bulletproof cars [worth N40bn] for members and principal officials, pending the determination of the lawsuit on the matter.” NPO Reported on Sunday that the House of Representatives revealed it was set to purchase the jeeps for its own members.

Abia Government on Monday said that it has not issued any quit notice order asking Hausa Community in the Lokpanta Cattle Market to leave the state. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, Navy Cmdr Macdonald Ubah Rtd, made this known during a press briefing at the Government House, Umuahia.
