Gov. Dikko Radda of Katsina State says his administration has spent N900 million on 41 indigent students to study Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Al-Nahda University, Egypt. The governor disclosed this on Monday at the Official Launching of Foreign Scholarship for MBBS in Katsina. He said the indigent students were selected on merits, after an examination was conducted for the interested candidates that attended public secondary schools in the state. The University of Ilorin (Unilorin) has expelled Mr Mathew Balogun with Matriculation Number: 14/25OD062, over alleged sexual misconduct. According to Unilorin Bulletin issued on Monday, Balogun was expelled having been found guilty of allegation of sexual molestation committed against vulnerable students and admission seekers into the university.
