An early morning fire has caught a popular retail outlet and supermarket in Abuja, IC World Emporia. The supermarket, located in the Gwarinpa Area of the FCT, was said to have caught fire in the early hours of the day. The fire, NPO Reports gathered, reportedly started from the pent house of the three storey building and caught up with the floors below. Some telecommunications subscribers on Wednesday expressed displeasure over the barring of their lines by telcos, despite having linked their National Identification Number (NIN) with their SIM cards. The subscribers expressed their displeasure in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos. The Nigeria Police Force says it has arrested three persons, who allegedly belong to a syndicate involved in forgery, extortion and counterfeiting the Nigeria Police Character Certificate. The Public Relations Officer of the Federal Criminal Investigation Department, Alagbon Lagos, ASP Aminat Mayegun confirmed the arrest on Tuesday, while parading the suspects in Ikoyi.
