The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kwara Sector Command has confirmed the death of 11 persons in a road accident at Aiyere Community, along Bode Saadu-Ilorin Route, Moro Local Government. The Sector Commander, Stephen Dawulung, told newsmen that the accident involved 18 people and occurred at 4:50 a.m. on Tuesday. The Federal Government on Tuesday announced it was suspending recognition of degrees obtained from Togo and Republic of Benin. Government’s decision stemmed from a recent discovery that degrees are being sold to Nigerians where four year courses could be completed in 6 weeks. An investigation carried out by Daily Nigerian revealed that degrees are obtained by those who wish to pay for them without the rigours of academic duties.
