Operatives of the Zone 2 Police Command, comprising Lagos and Ogun states, have arrested three men with two suspected human hearts. The Zonal Public Relations Officer, SP Tunni Ayuba, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Thursday in Lagos. According to Ayuba, the suspects are all males. Ayuba said that the suspected human hearts were discovered in the house of one of the suspects at Oke-Ola area of Ago-Iwoye, Ogun. during a search. NBS said this in its Petrol Price Watch for November 2023 released in Abuja on Thursday. Gov. Mohammed Bago of Niger has approved a seven-day public holiday for workers to celebrate Christmas and New Year. This is contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Bologi Ibrahim on Thursday in Minna. NPO Reports that the death of the nation’s four refineries had culminated in the importation of fuel with attendant high cost to consumers. The House of Representatives Committee on Public Assets has commenced action to ensure the enumeration and valuation of public assets as well as the asset register in compliance with the House resolution. The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) says it recorded zero jailbreak and attacks in all the 253 custodial centres across the country in 2023.
