Tagged as ‘substandard items’ the products comprising of counterfeit medications, medical equipment. and other regulated products deemed unsafe were destroyed at Oyo capital city, Ibadan. Safiu Kehinde At least, 133 people have landed in hospital after food poisoning in Myanmar. This was confirmed in a report by the information team of the State Administration Council on Thursday. According to the report, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening after local residents Oktwin township in the Bago region in southern Myanmar were hospitalized due to food poisoning. They had consumed fried vermicelli, sauce, rice, and tamarind egg curry donated to them earlier that morning, the report said. Agency Report Anambra State Waste Management Authority (ASWAMA) has urged the state residents to earn money with their plastic waste instead of dumping them  indiscriminately and hurt the environment. As seen in the video, the woman, simply identified as Olivia, was heavily strapped to a chair with industrial cellotape by the suspected ritualist at the undisclosed hotel. Olivia’s scream from the room where she had lodged with the suspect who gave his name as Alex, had alerted the hotel staff who rushed to her rescue.
