Safiu Kehinde A 36 Year-Old Nigerian businessman has excreted 68 wraps of cocaine following his arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). This was disclosed in a statement issued by the agency on its official X handle today. According to the statement, the Onitsha-based businessman, identified as Ibeanusi Solomon Nosike, was arrested the local wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on the 8th of August 2024. Halimah Olamide Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, have arrested 20 individuals on offenses bordering environmental infractions. The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this via an X post on Sunday. The individuals were arrested along Ojodu-Berger on Saturday night and in the early hours of Sunday morning. According to Wahab, they were arrested during patrol and monitoring of the area. He wrote; “During patrol and monitoring of Ojodu-Berger yesterday night and early hours of today, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps @LAGESCOfficial arrested 20 individuals for committing environmental infractions.”

Safiu Kehinde Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has explained the reasons for the increment in cost of Nigerian Passport acquisition. This was contained in a post on NIS’ official X handle. Agency Report Telegram chief executive Pavel Durov has been arrested by French police at an airport north of Paris. Mr Durov was detained after his private jet had landed at Le Bourget Airport, French media reported.
