Safiu Kehinde The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) have disclosed that 65 percent (two-third) of Nigerian households go hungry over dwindling food security. This was contained in the report of the General-Household Surgery released by NBS on Thursday. According to the survey on consumption , food security, and shock, two out of three households (65.8 percent) indicated being unable to eat healthy, nutritious or preferred foods because of lack of money in the last 30 days. This was made known in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary in the Bureau, Arinola Adetayo, on Thursday.
