Agency Report A Jos Magistrates’ Court on Friday sentenced a 38-year-old driver, Monday Amale to 18 months in prison for stealing iron door valued at N90, 000. The Magistrate, Mr Shawomi Bokkos, summarily tried and sentenced Amale after he pleaded guilty to the crime. The magistrate, however, gave the convict a fine of N20, 000 or six months in prison. Agency Report An assault by dozens of Israeli settlers has devastated a Palestinian town in the occupied West Bank, drawing blistering condemnation from top Israeli officials. Agency Report The Lagos State Government says traffic will be diverted at Ikeja Along bus stop, between Ile Zik and Conoil Petrol Station, on the Oshodi bound lane from Saturday to Sunday.
